Paddlers Cup is an annual community event featuring paddle racing for kayaks, canoes, SUP’s, outriggers and para-canoes, as well as dragon boat races, and benefits the Gig Harbor Canoe and Kaya Racing Team. The ream is a nonprofit community organization committed to introducing children ages 9 to 18 to the sport of Olympic canoe and kayak racing, and is the proud winner of the USA National Team Championships in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2021, in addition to hosting 2021 Olympic Gold Medalist Nevin Harrison.

Fast, furious, and fun! Companies, community organizations, clubs, schools, or any group can register a dragon boat team (20 paddlers). No experience is necessary – this is a great team-building activity and a huge crowd favorite. Dragon boat training and all equipment will be provided – just bring your team!
