A Vibrant Community.
Gig Harbor is an ideal destination for those looking for natural wonders, like the Salish Sea and Mount Rainier; an active small-town feel where conversations flow freely and neighbors wave hello; where small, independent businesses flourish ranging from oyster harvesters to independent bookstores, from farm-to-table restaurants to boutiques and art galleries. Events happen throughout the year, whether you enjoy a morning half-marathon across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, competing in a dragon boat race, meeting filmmakers from around the world at the Gig Harbor Film Festival, or taking a more ale-based approach at the Gig Harbor Beer Festival.
Explore our hotels and unique variety of vacation rentals, find activities to explore on your own or along with a larger group, and find some of Gig Harbor’s hidden gems as recommended by locals here in our blog. Welcome to Gig Harbor. We’re glad you’re here, and we can’t wait to show you around.
