Narrows Music Society's Young Artists Concert
Young Artists: Assemble!!
Mark your calendars for Narrows Music Society’s 2023 Young Artists’ Concert! Harbor Winds Concert Band, helped by accomplished local High School and Middle School instrumentalists, will perform its annual Young Artists’ Concert on February 11, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in Navigators’ Hall at Lighthouse Christian School.
Advanced Rope Splicing Class
In this advanced splicing class you will learn about modern rope types and materials, the double braid splice, and an introduction to splicing high-tech single braids.
Class will be held in the newly renovated Eddon Boatyard House, located at Gig Harbor BoatShop.
Harbor PYO Winter Concert
Sunday Feb 5th 3pm at Peninsula High School Auditorium
The Peninsula Youth Orchestra will be providing a free concert for the community including performances from their 4 orchestras--students ranging from 7 to 19 years old.
Music at the Boatshop Concert Series Presents: Hildaland
Orkney (Scotland) born fiddler Louise Bichan and Indiana (USA) mandolinist Ethan Setiawan present a collaboration and meeting of their musical worlds in Hildaland. A path steeped in the fiddle traditions of their respective sides of the Atlantic, the journey taken wends through Scottish, oldtime, and Swedish inspired music intertwined with contemporary compositions. Bichan’s fiddle is a melodic foil to Setiawan’s counterpoint and harmonic depth, and the two weave in and out seamlessly.

Tides Tavern “Tapmaster 2022”
Tapmaster is an annual Tides Tavern event, in which participants try all of the 16 draft beers (limit 4 per day) in the month of February and receive a limited edition t-shirt, an entry into a prize drawing and an appearance on the Tides Tavern wall of fame!
